In Loving Memory of Loga & Uncle Eric

Tooooo many deathss!!

It came as such a sudden news. My family and I were up in Genting for a family camp when my mom got an sms saying that Loga from the Alleycats had passed away after a 8-month battle with lung cancer. It was on Monday when we got the news and his funeral was scheduled to be on Wednesday.

On early Wednesday morning, Mom and a few of her friends drove up to Penang to bid their last farewell to one of their closest friend. My mom and Loga (Uncle Loga to me) go wayyyy back as I still recall visiting his home in Penang when I was still oh-so little. He and his familywelcomed us with such great hospitality and generosity; taking us around Penang and of course introducing us to the best Penang food! He was always a gentleman with a great sense of humour. Yes, that was the kind of man he was. According to Aunty Susan (his wife), he was still in good spirit and was joking around even till his very last breath.

You will dearly be missed Uncle Loga, and your legacy will live on forever!

R.I.P Uncle Eric

That Wednesday morning as momma travelled up to Penang, Uncle Eric (my church member's husband) passed away due to cancer of the pancreas. Leaving behind Aunty Inn and his three very young kids. What is it with cancer?!? Everyone seems to have it!! Enough already!! Ok please do excuse me, it's just that there's been so many many series of people dying of this sickening disease!

Uncle Eric only found out bout his cancer only in February but it was already in the third stage. He didn't want to go through chemo or any sort of therapy. All he wanted was to live his life to the fullest and be happy instead of being sticken to the bed with drips and needles inserted to his body.

I didn't have the opportunity to know him better but from the eulogy Aunty Inn gave, I know he was a very loving husband, father and friend. We all know that he's in a better place now and is no longer suffering.

PLEASE...NO MORE DEATHS AND FUNERALS!!!

Hi! sorry to hear bout uncle eric.. loga's passing came as a shock to me as well.. he has touched many people's lives especially in the industry. We are doing a show for Yayasan Cancerlink and during the meeting we found out that new born babies are dying from cancer that can now be passed on by the smoking mum thru the blood cells.. sigh our only hope is to pray and have faith in the Lord i guess..
U take care ya? send my love to mummy *hugs*
